AUSTIN, TX (March 11, 2015) – Vianovo, a leading consultancy for high-stakes brand, policy and crisis issues, announced today that Katherine Nash Goehring, most recently the head of investor relations and communications at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO), has joined the firm as partner in its Austin office. Katherine continues to serve MSLO as an outside consultant.

“Katherine is a trusted advisor to corporate and public leaders on navigating the complex intersection of media, Wall Street, and the consumer,” said Blaine Bull, a Vianovo partner.  “We are thrilled to welcome a friend and rising star to our team.”

Ms. Goehring joined MSLO in 2008. During her tenure at MSLO Katherine directed award-winning publicity efforts and oversaw critical corporate events – from annual shareholder meetings and quarterly earnings calls to the launch of the annual American Made multimedia brand event and numerous high profile partnership announcements.

“I am excited to join Vianovo’s talented team of political, business and communications strategists,” Goehring said.  “Vianovo has a proven track record of helping clients position their brands, win public battles, and access new markets, and I’m looking forward to expanding that work in Austin and around the country.”

Ms. Goehring previously served as an Associate Vice President at Rubenstein Associates, where she provided crisis support to high-profile brands and public figures and oversaw the firm’s push into digital media.  Before joining Rubenstein, she was a principal in the New York office of Public Strategies, working closely with former Texas Governor Ann Richards and counseling clients such as the New York Stock Exchange and KPMG on financial and crisis communications.

“Katherine knows public markets, knows branding, and knows how to win when the stakes are high,” said Vianovo partner Tucker Eskew,  a White House veteran who served Presidents Reagan and George W. Bush. "We are excited to have her on our growing team, and so are our current and prospective clients.”
