Julie Hillrichs draws upon more than two decades of experience in politics and journalism to offer strategic communications counsel to Vianovo clients.

Julie joined Vianovo from Public Strategies, where she worked for five years as a director, helping to manage several high-profile corporate campaigns in the healthcare, aerospace, financial services and energy industries. She served as press secretary for U.S. Senator Phil Gramm on two consecutive re-election campaigns, and worked on the Senator’s legislative staff in Texas and Washington D.C.

Julie also was Director of Public Information for a statewide regulatory agency in Austin, and served as Director of Public Affairs and Marketing for the National Center for Policy Analysis, a Dallas-based think tank. She has provided expertise to the National Republican Senatorial Committee as a media consultant on the election campaigns of U.S. Senators Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas and Paul Coverdell of Georgia. Earlier in her career, Julie wrote for the Midland Reporter-Telegram and Des Moines (Iowa) Register.
