Maru joined Vianovo in 2006 as an executive assistant and has broadened her role by providing expert management and coordination to the firm’s international client services as well as new business initiatives through out Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Prior to joining Vianovo, Maru worked at Catholic Charities of Central Texas, a nonprofit organization based in Austin, TX, providing administrative and client support services.  Before that, Maru worked for seven years with BBVA Bancomer, Mexico's largest private financial institution, as executive assistant to the CFO. Maru is a native of Mexico City and moved to Austin in 2004.  She earned her associate’s degree in Business Administration from St. Helen’s School in Mexico City.
